Although it only seems like yesterday, almost a decade has passed since Piaggio ceased production of the PX. As a consequence replacement parts are increasingly being dropped from their spares catalogue and one item that’s been unobtainable for some time is an analogue speedo. Now, we know there are some really good digital options out there, but for ease of use and cost effectiveness it’s hard to beat an old school 'fit-and-forget' analogue unit.
After a lot of detective work, we managed to track down the company who originally supplied speedos to Piaggio and persuaded them to resume production, just for us.
The replacement units are in the MY style, but we know that some riders prefer the EFL/understated look so our units are available in both MY grey and stealth black. The only difference between these and the original items is a discrete ‘RD’ logo. Yes, we're so pleased with the quality that we're very proud to put our name on these.
Our speedos are a direct fit to any headset with a 105mm diameter speedo opening and will plug straight in to any PX manufactured after 2001. For earlier models, an adaptor harness is required. The standard speedo cable is a direct fit and requires no modification.
